• Abide by a vow of confidentiality. Any information discussed between
practitioner and client will not be repeated, unless a law is being broken
or someone’s safety is at risk.
• Demonstrate commitment to provide the highest quality bodywork to those
who seek professional service.
• Always treat clients with respect and honor, and without discrimination.
• Arrive at work in clean, professional attire.
• Never diagnose or prescribe. Use judgment when a client should seek
other forms of help.
• Acknowledge the limitations of my skills, and always strive to enhance
my knowledge.
• Never tolerate nor instigate any sort of sexual advance while acting in
the capacity of massage/bodywork.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable working environment.
• Promote my profession and myself honestly and tactfully.
• Treat others as I desire to be treated.
Client
Policies

I promise
to provide a competent and professional session each time you come for an
appointment, addressing your specific needs for that session.
ü
Privacy
and confidentiality will be maintained at all times.
ü
I keep
accurate records and review charts before each session.
ü
All clients
will be treated courteously and with respect.
ü
Personal
and professional boundaries are respected at all times.
ü
Payment is
expected at the time service is rendered (except for packages which are
purchased prior to services rendered for the series requested). I accept
cash and checks.
ü
If you
come with a prescription from your doctor, I will do my best to
communicate my findings and your progress to him/her.
ü
I do not
diagnose nor claim that I have the ability to heal.
ü
I will
treat you within my scope of practice, and I will never make false claims
that I have abilities which I do not have.
ü
Gift
certificates are available and have a 1-year expiration date. No
discounts can be applied for the purchase of gift certificates. If the
recipient does not want to use the certificate, the certificate can be
transferred to another client. NO REFUNDS are given for certificates.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations
I understand that unanticipated events occasionally occur in everyone's
life: business meetings, project deadlines, flight delays, car problems,
child emergencies, and illness are just a few reasons why one might
consider canceling an appointment. In my desire to be effective and fair
to all of my clients and out of consideration for my time, I have adopted
the following policies:
24 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment.
This allows the opportunity for someone else to avail themselves of my
services.
If you are unable to provide 24 hours advance notice and I am unable to
fill your time slot, you will be charged the full amount of what would
have been your treatment fee. At my discretion this charge will be either
automatically deducted from the balance of an existing gift certificate,
or it must be paid in full prior to your next treatment.
No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their
appointment for whatever reason will be considered a "no-show". They will
be charged for their "missed" appointment and future service will be
denied until payment is made.
Arriving late
Sessions
will begin and end at scheduled times. Sessions that are begun late due to
client arriving late will end at the appointed time and will be full
price. If you are not present for your
scheduled session during the first 15 minutes (unless having telephoned me
you might be late), it will be construed by us that you are a "no-show",
and that time slot will automatically become available for someone else.
Depending upon how late you arrive, I will then determine if there is
enough time remaining to start a treatment...and regardless of the length
of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the "full"
session.

Confirmation calls will generally be made unless a client requests that no
call be made.

If a
session is begun late due to my scheduling difficulties, the client will
receive the full time of their appointment (if client’s schedule allows).
If you cannot be delayed, the remaining time will be credited towards your
next massage.
ü
If you are
dissatisfied with a treatment and no other arrangement can be agreed upon,
compensation may be made at my discretion.
ü
My business is lenient and I
understand the unexpected. All problems and concerns may be brought up to
me, and we will handle things accordingly.
ü
At this time, I do not bill
insurance companies. If your session is covered, I will be happy to
assist you in any way in order to get reimbursed.
